i know someone tried to do a groupby a couple months ago but it fell through... now Grubbs has them in stock, the red/silver, red/white and blue/white emblems... i just got mine (blue/white) in the mail but after getting them, i'm a little hesitant to put them on...

anyone have pictures of these installed and any suggestions on where exactly to place them?

These are cheaper than the groupby price proposed awhile back... 2 for like $30
Blue/White

not sure if i should place them lower on the fender or a little higher up... and i'm not even sure if i still want to put them on...

just FYI though, these emblems have two little plastic pieces sticking out the back of them... to install them flush on our fender you'll have to cut those off...

 

I was kind of in the same boat you were in man. I will have to post pics when I get home but I put them on the lower fender. I Went against the norm but I think it looks really good and the feedback from my friends is the same.

If it goes high, it stands out too much and, to me, messes up the lines of the car.

I got the Silver/Red and noticed that it has tabs on the back too. I quickly got rid of those with a nice sharp razor blade. Really EASY to do!!! As long as it's new and sharp, it'll make quick work of the Tabs.

lol yea you got a lot of room to work with on the fender so you can pretty much place them anywhere... i think i'm leaning towards the bottom of the fender but i'm still thinking... post those pics when ever you guys get a chance hehe

Does the new body style Skylines have these emblems? or just the older ones?

I believe these are only on the GT-R skyline and not the V35 skylines... thanks for the pics... thats a little too low for me though... how did you manage to the align them to the same spot on the fender? I'm still on the fence about it but I guess i could always just take them off...
