Anybody without premium package?

Are you without premium package?
If yes, do you regret not getting it?

Thanks

I have a base coupe. No regrets.
Premium would have gotten me:

1)Moon roof. Don't care for them.
2)Stereo upgrade. The Bose and the non-Bose stink, in my opinion, so no loss there. I'm going to wind up doing the Double-din changeout and getting higher-end components eventually; why pay more at the beginning for something that I'm going to get rid of?
3)Dual-zone A/C. I'm alone in the car 99% of the time. No use.
4)Garage Door Opener. Already have one; don't need one built-in to the car.

You get the idea...

yes, older models could be had with nothing.

as for me. i had to get all the options because i wanted nav. if it was my choice, i'd probably just get nav without the prem package. i would rather have a base cloth 6MT with NAV only, i never open the sunroof and use almost non of the prem features.

I just got mine yesterday w/o prem....so far I dont regret it, the extras are nice but I would not get much use out of them. I really wasnt on a budget but I wanted to have low payments b/c I will be buying a house soon...so just think about it, if you dont have any other payments then go for it I am sure everyone that got prem likes it but I wont miss what I dont have...what I didnt have in my Prelude (old car).
I can use the $ to pay this G35 off sooner or get some nice DD Nav like the Pioneer, I hear its just as good if not better.

If I could do it again, I wouldn't get the Premium package.. Unfortunately, at Ray Catena they order 90% 5AT Premium Packaged G35 Coupes, and 10% 6MTs and/or non-premium package. The dealer said they would have to either "special order" or look for another lot to find a non premium G, and I wanted the G on the spot!

I could use without the homelink, dimming window, crappy *** bose stereo, etc.. I would mainly put the money I saved into a real sound system, the "Premium" Bose system sucks IMO allthough I have gotten used to it. I would however order it with a moonroof, which can be ordered seperately for $1,000. Cant live without that.

I should mention that I do have the leather seats, and that I do love them. You have to understand that coming from a 2002 Subaru WRX, even my leather-equipped base coupe seems like an awesome luxury vehicle.

Ordered mine without it, full aero (R94 + R01) and I got the sunroof so it would be easier to sell down the road, didn't even want that either. It has nothing to do with money, if the premium package was mandatory I would have said F it and got a used NSX or M3. I just would not allow myself to spend $2500 on the premium package when I'm just going to rip the entire stereo system out and rarely/never use the premium package options. To me that is like paying for a stereo twice, F that because the Blose system is really awful, search on it, seems like a lot of people mod it to get it to sound nice or replace it altogether. Out of all of them, the only option I'd like is the homelink mirror, but you can buy that for $250 online. I want NAV, so I'm doing the Double Din. I'll have an audiophile sound system in my car, navigation, tint, clearbra, all of this for less than these options from the factory, better components to boot.

i have one with premium
(like you can see on my sign, i got every package except navigation, which i regret :/)
anyways i dont regret for any OEM products.
i am not like a person who strips everything apart right away...
i am gradually modifying...(planning.)
its not that bad to get the one without premium.

I special ordered my 03 with premium and got it the day the G coupe was introduced (10/31/02). Never once did I use the homelink, dual zone ac, auto headlights, or enjoy the blose in 2.5 yrs. I only like the sunroof and auto dim mirror. I now have a special ordered 05 without premium. Plus, the $1450 savings almost paid for my front BBK, which is much more important than the homelink crap, etc.

BTW, you can purchase the Homelink Mirror separately and install it. It is made by Gentex and costs about ~$250.

Is it hard to do? I don't like the idea of messing with wires.
