I just picked up a Stillen intake for my G and its mounted to the stock tube.I wanted to know if I get a Z tube will I notice or hear a diffrence in preformance or is it just cosmetic?Thanks all.

After 4000 rpm, you will definetly notice it

 

As a newb and trying not to **** off the wife; how much louder will the sound be?

 

Its not TOO noticeable. You'll ask some and they may not even recognize it but at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) I think it really rours and makes your engine sound like a beast. I think its a great car sound. If I were a betting man, I'd bet your wife wouldnt even notice but I think you will

 

the sound is awsome man. i have a Z-tueb and pop charger and i will not change it for anything. my friend got the 300 dollar AEM intake and ill still take the pop charge with z-tube anyday.

 

Yeah.. just got my Z-tube in the mail. Now I get to see what all the hype is about.

I am gonna get the Z-tube and put my Blitz Stainless filter on it. I love the Blitz filter.

A free-flow, open-element filter is more appropriate description. The "cold" part will depend on the weather.
