I purchased a OB G35c in Feb. and parked it in my girlfriends heated garage. Well her neighbors a young married couple hasvea Blue 04 WRX STi, and the husband saw me putting a car cover on my car and the husband told me in a friendly way to drive it instead of treating it like an antique (I commute by public tranp. to work and only drive the thing on the weekends 99% of the time). Well anyways, a couple months pass and I see this very nice and fairly new Carrera 4s parked in their space (where the STi was) now and the STi parked in their other parking spot. I guess my girlfriend asked the husband if the Porsche was their's and he admitted that after he saw my G35, he wanted to by a sportier looking car and ended up spending a whole lot of money on a Porsche. Kind of makes you feel proud that a G35 can make a person driving a new STi to purchase a fairly new Carrera 4S. Thanks guys....... oh yeah, I am thinking of purchasing a 06 ZO6 next year, but can't bare to part with my 05 G35c which still only has 1900 miles since getting it Feb.
HAHAHA, I am not married...... he is. Also, I thin kit is funny how me getting a G35 made this guy jealous enough to go out and buy a Porsche even though he already has a STi. As for driving during the week, I get to work at 7am and get out at 10pm (life of a consultant), so I have no time to even think about driving. Sucks a lot, but the more I work the more money I make (unlike P Diddy's song Mo Money Less Problems....with bills). However, when I do drive I drive like I have a lot of spirit. I was even challenged by a TT (hahahahahaha) and let's say he knows what my taillights look like now.

The fact that he spent more in order to get a more sporting car with AWD isn't lost on me.
The WRX spoiled him (performance-wise).
I'm prepared for the decrease in performance, but the other features and overall package of the G still fits the bill for me... ...and I'm also ready for the fun of RWD again.
It's great that the G's body inspired him so much. I think we all know what that feels like.
