Pricing
Pricing
Hi, I'm new to the forum but I'm thinking of purchasing a 2005 G35 automatic with sport suspension kit, aero package, splash guards, and moonroof. What's a good price? Best price? Is it possible to get invoice price on the car? below invoice? Thanks for your help.
Since you want an AT, you should have the power when it comes to going over numbers. Infiniti flooded the G35 market with autos and limited the 6MTs. You should get a price pretty damn close to invoice. 6MTs go for a premium price, also depending on your color combo, you'll have a different leverage when it comes to deal time (IE B.Silver, D.Graphite, Black are the most popular colors) If you can, try an internet buy from a dealer, that way they send you an offer and you can compare it to KBB.com. I've also used auto-by-tel in the past and had 1 of 3 1998 4x4 Dodge Dakotas with the 5.2L w/ manual trans. in CA (The engine and Tranny combo was rare in CA) not to mention it was the most popular color for $400 over invoice. I'd look on the net as much as possible because it is the easiest way to try and negotiate a price with out the sales man breathing on you. If you still don't like the results, go in and see a dealer.
TTL = Tax, Title and License. Estimate that to be about 10% of your purchase price. I paid $34,405 ($37,600 out the door) for my 2005 6MT Coupe (Premium, Splash, Trunk Mat), at Montclair Infiniti (Los Angeles). My suggestion is to call every dealership you can find and ask for the fleet manager. Don't waste time talking to the useless sales guys. The fleet manager will do the most for you. I called 12 dealerships in LA and got the best price from Montclair. Calling all the dealerships took about an hour, and when I went to pick up the car it was all done, just had to sign forms and drive it home. Completely painless. If you're in the LA area, I reccomend Montclair, ask for Hiro (he's the fleet manager).
