I'm Doing It....color Change!

But I need your help. I'm trying to come up with a unique color that hasn't been done on a G. I was thinking "color shift", but I don't want it to be too rice. Any suggestions? If you could possibly post a pic of the color you are recommending, that would be great. I was also thinking an exotic car color...anyone?

What about the Red that the sedan comes in. It looks sweet in the sun. Sorry, I don't know the proper name for it!

I am thinking of painting my black coupe over in the black metallic found on the new Charger after I get my body kit on.

It would be difficult to get an exotic car type color and have it work on the G. A lot of colors that exotics have, for example, the Verde Ithaca on that Murcielago, would only work on a car like that because of the kind of car it is. Theyre allowed to have obnoxious colors like that lol.

I think a pretty unique color that would look cool on the G would be a rusty metallic color. not too orange, but not too red either.

randy... u should have some of the photoshop guru's here paint a car virtually before u make any decisions. it won't be exact... but at least u could get an idea of it. i'd like to see that rusty colour mentioned before though.

yeah green would probably look good, if you got some effects to go with it, not just a green g....it would give it more of a race look tho. I really like the 350z's blue...that color looks sharp... I guess again its all about preference...

There was a thread on color options done with photoshop....I think WRAH did it. Anyways, it showed 10+ very original colors if I remember correctly. Try searching for it or PM Wrah directly.

Good Luck.

Too bad the links in this thread appear to be dead.

If you can get a mod or the original posters to revive the links it used to have some interesting photoshopped colors in it...

Thats what I did. I took your car into my photostudio from canon and threw the red to 80, yellow to 96, and magenta 54 and then saturated it 15%. Sorry about the back seat window, kinda ****ed it up tracing it and its a bit jagged. I reallllllly love how it looks.
