Everyone with a G
Mine is being delivered July 28th and so I went in to the dealer this past weekend to order the 18 in. Infiniti chrome with exchange $1200, tephlon coating, rust proofing, painting of front lip stillen spoiler ($125), Lojack ($695), and passport 8500 radar ($300). ALL TOTALING $3100!!!!
Beware of these charges as options and do the prices that I have look reasonable???
This dealer (Motorworks in Barrington, IL) does everything in house and gaurantees all of their work which makes all painting and mods really nice to have done!

I can only comment on 1 thing, whay are you buying a passport 8500. The best protection you can get is a Valentine 1. If you need anymore, get a Laserblinder to go with it.

The teflon coating and rust proofing are a complete waste of money and a dealer scam. Save your money and get a clear bra.

What Dave_C said. Its practically PURE dealer profit and does NADA for your car. Just wax, wash and take care of it. If you want protection, get the clear bra like he said.

$1200 for chrome dipping is too much, $125 per wheel is the most i would ever pay.

Passport 8500.....its $300 retail, why buy it from the dealership??? im sure you can find a better deal at some online store or even Ebay.
$125 to paint the lip.....dont even bother, do you know how much paint you can buy for $125?????? You can buy enough paint to cover your car with 20 coats. Take it to a local bodyshop, im sure they can do it for $50 to $75
You can save alot of money by doing things yourself, its all up to you dude. Good luck.

If I get the rims dipped, it will cost me about $199 a rim + shipping costs which would save me total about $200 and if I need to collect on the warranty over the next 3 yrs, I would then have to ship the rim back. It is worth $200 to bring the rims back to the dealer at any time. The dealer also said I should NOT hard wire the passport radar because all of the controls are on the cord. I can also move it to my wife's car anytime. How much is the Valentine 1? I looked on Ebay for the passport and they are all $299...no deals. I wonder about that tephlon coating though??? Anyone have good news about Lojack?
