I saw it today in person, and the guy has not problems at all towing or getting out of the ramps.

I'm going to be moving somewhere to go to law school and taking my G. I guess hauling jetski's is a pretty rediculous thing to do with a G, but could you trail one of u-haul's smaller trailers?

Y our cars can easily handle that load?...My GF corolla does it perfect with a lot less HP and TQ

 

I installed the hitch on the photo above and it works great....I like the looks too ) I use it to pull my SIR (430lbs) and trailer (300lbs) from Palm Beach to Deals Gap and can't even feel it back there. About 2 mpg difference in fuel economy. If you have any hobbies motorcycles, Jet ski or track days it works great....installation was a little time consuming, but the second time I could do the whole job in 1.5 hours.

 

Can you post pictures because there are a lot of us that want to this as well.. I just got my car this week so I will wait about a month before I let anyone cut into or drill my ride. We have a professional hitch installer that I was going to pay to do this for me...

 

Okay the hitch came in today.. Well it was in last week but they ordered the one for the sedan. Got the call that the coupe hit was in and headed down. It took the installer about 45-an hour for the install. Probably would have been faster if he was not stopping to take phone calls.

The hitch looks good. The 1 1/4 in receiver sits right below the liscence plate. It looks like they had about 4 bolts holding it onto the rear bumper. Two behind the liscence plate and two underneath. They did cut less than a two inch notch out of the rear bumper but the only way you would ever see that would be if you crawled underneather the car. They let me took a look at it while it was up on the rack.

I am sorry I did not take pictures of it when it was on the rack. I was half way down there and forgot that I had taken the camera out of the car. But I will try to take some pics this weekend when I take the bike out for a ride.


The hitch and the install look great. I think it is a must do for anyone who wants to still bring their bikes and not have to load it in the car. The hit says it's rate to 1,000 pounds. I cannot tell you if that fits in the jet ski weight or not.. But for bikes, it can't be beat.


I have a black G so I think you really have to look to see the reciever. You guys let me know when you see the pictures this weekend.

The hitch shipped and with tax was a little of two hundred, and the install was $45. I am sure if you had drills a cutter for the bumber you could do it yourself, but I am not a handy man so I think it was money well spent.

The install was done by a hitch guy in Santa Clara on El Camino right next door to the brushless carwash and the adult book store. If you have any questions go ahead and PM me.
