Incorrect. Every state is different. I know because Im from Mass and live on the border of NH and have friends their. They were able to get their permit at 15 1/2 and their license at 16, where residents of Mass get their permit at 16 and the licence at 16 1/2. The rules like driving past midnight until 18, etc are very similiar from my understanding though.

I was just only asking coz in CA you have to be 17.5 at least, to have a permit. I didn't know that in your state you can get a permit at 16.
