On my last trip to vegas, I got about 23mpg, but that was also at an average speed of 90mph, and for those who have driven the i-15 from CA to Vegas no that there is a steady climb there, and a very short but very steep climb back. So I was happy with the 23mpg that I got. On my normal day to day drive I get about 14-18mpg depending on how heavy my foot is that week.

re: ur M.P.G?

I've been getting 21-22 around town, 27 highway driving w/AC and a relatively light foot. Mileage has been going up since about 10K miles. Not using synthetic oil yet.

After 2 fill ups my average is 19.238. A fair amount of highway but a fair amount of having fun with the new toy too! Based on my previous habits with my S2000 I don't expect this to go up...

I've got a 35 or so mile commute as well either all freeway or 70/30 hwy/city depending on route.

One thing I have noticed thus far, the '05 has a 20 gallon tank correct? My first fill up I drove all the way home from work with the gas light on, only filled up 17.6 gallons. Today when I filled up it had just gone on and I put in just over 17 gallons. That's quite a buffer if the tank really is 20 gallons!! Anyone else experience this?

yea the gas light is very conservative. It tells when you have about 3-4 gallons left in the tank.

First tank I got: 21 MPG
Second tank: 20.8 MPG

Yup, if I fill up right after my light comes on, I constantly get about 16.5 - 16.8 gallons in, so I agree, appears to come on w/ just over 3 gallons left in the tank.

I drove to vegas and back on friday and I got around 29. It was so rad!! I think the more miles I get on my car the better it is getting. I'm still under 7k but still, its a whole lot better than the 20-21 I was getting not too long ago.

Do you guys think a CAI or drop-in K&N filter can increase MPG? How about Red Line's Water Wetter coolant additive to decrease temp? I've heard of this thing called Fuel Power too, anyone tried it? Am I nuts?

Currently with 5300 miles on it....

I'm getting 18 in the city and between 25-28 on the highway.
highest reading was 28.6 on a 200 mile highway trip.

No, it's this: http://lubecontrol.com/ Everyone raves about them. It's $26 a gallon and I guess it works like Red Line, cleaning and optimizating fuel burning. I'm interested if anyone got good results?
