Hey everyone. Well, it's been a little over a month since I've purchased my G. I'm still loving it. Just last weekend after coming home from SF, I saw an identical g but it was an 04 version. My first reaction was "Aw....mang! Not one in my complex!" It didn't bother me too much after that but when I got home from work today, I saw another 04 g that was diamond graphite. OMG! GRRRR I knew this one was different because the other one turned into his house right after the gate, but this one followed me to the end of my street. My complex isn't big so I'm a little sad to know that there are three DG Gs here. My question is "Do any of you have a G similar to yours around your area?"

Nice to meet you all.
I know the feeling.....My buddy on my street bought the same ride as me 6 months after I got mine.
At first I was upset, then it turned to flattery. After all these are great rides...you can't be surprised that other peeps want the same.
In your own back yard is a little hard to take tho.

C.

I was driving around Hollywood/Highland in Los Angeles and another Athens Blue G35 drove right behind me and then wanted to race me. I also hate it when I see other athens blue G'z out there. I just pretend that I'm the only one with athens blue, which I know isn't true. That's why it's time for me to change the looks a little bit. I'm planning on selling my OEM 05 19's which are CHROME w/tires and in mint condition and less than 1K miles, no scratches or blemishes, well taken care of. Just email me or pm if interested.

Not many G35 coupes here in NM, but there's another DG coupe that lives about 2 miles from mine. Who'd a thunk it.

About a week after taking delivery of my somewhat rare Barcelona Red Pearl/tan '97 Eclipse GSX, I pulled into Wal-Mart only to park several spots away from an identical one. Since '97, I've still only seen a 2 red and a 1 white '97+ GSX(s) around here.

Within a month after seeing that identical GSX I started my mods. Never did see that one again... ...but at 325HP or so I was no longer so sensitive to seeing OEM-level twins.

Just make it yours and forget about it.

Three DG 6MTs at my work. The answer... Start modding! That's what I did and now I can't stop. I know the pain you are feeling. My car has to be different.

Time for therapy!

If I get on the road for 15mins I usually see about 3-5 G's. However I have never seen another Twilight Blue like mine.

saw a few black G's around... yes, he would slowed down and check out my ride....I do that too...

The only way you can see your G's exterior while driving is by looking at someone else's.

There is somebody who has a DG coupe like mine (but no mods) and works next door to my work. Unfortunaltly he drives like a complete A-hole, and I've had people yell at me thinking that I am him Before I saw him, I was wondering why I was getting so much grief! (I drive like a granny in the morning)

I'm hoping mods sets me apart from him, but I bet most ppl still cant tell a difference
