A Weird Problem with my G35 Coupe 6MT
Hello,
I just put in an Amplifier and a Subwoofer into my G35 Coupe.
After I put in the system, I noticed a slight difference in gas pedal.
It used to be very sensitive to pressure, so when I press down a tiny bit on the gas pedal, it'll respond. After I put in the system, it got a little less sensitive. I have to push down a little more than usual to get the response. I'm talking about very low RPMs tho, below 1500. It's not very noticeable, but since it's a stick shift, when I take off very slowly, car gets jerky since I'm used to the sensitive pedal. I wasn't there to watch them install the wires so I don't know what they did, or even do anything that has to do with throttle response/gas pedal. I'll be taking it back to the shop tomorrow, but can any tech gurus tell me what's going on here? It's really annoying me

Well first off what kind of system is it? Secondly, I would check on your wiring kit, ground wire kit, alternator, battery, everything that involves power. The more that goes to your system, the less goes into your car. My system is 2 12" JL W7's, 2 1000/1 Amplifiers for each sub, a 300/4 Amplifier for my high's, 3 Tv's, and lots of LED's and I haven't had a problem with any kind of power loss. I have over 200lbs of stereo weight now though so it's like I'm always carrying around a heavy *** person at all times. Definitely check out those things because I got a new 200amp alternator and a 5-n-1 battery cap, monster cable wiring kit, Stillen ground wire kit and lots more. Definitely ask your stereo shop about those things, that's what you really need to worry about. And also remember that extra weight you're carrying around with that stereo! Email me @ crmd37@hotmail.com if you have any questions cuz I don't check this that much. Good luck and see ya later.
