cool article
"However, so far this year the G35 is making the A4 eat its lunch in the showroom. In the first five months of 2005, Infiniti sold 29,182 G35s in the U.S."
Half of that number is probably on this forum!
My wife has an '03 A4 1.8 Turbo. Not a bad ride, actually, quite a good ride. However, it's underpowered and to get it to the point where it's close (3.0L turbo) when you dress it up similarly to the G35 it starts pushing $45k. One thing I like about it is the handling the quattro provides. Great for her in the winter. I'm hoping that traction control on the G35 keeps me on the road this winter! Overall though, fit, finish, features, power, etc. the G35 kicks it's ****. And we paid pretty close for the A4 to what I paid for the G35.
The things I don't like the most about the A4, it's got about the longest clutch travel of any car I've ever driven and the throw on the shifter is REALLY long. I was used to a flick of the wrist though in the S2000.
