Brake Pad Opinions

First I really appreciate everyones input.
2k4 G35 Coupe w/ Brembos 26K miles
I am getting ready to buy new front pads.
Which pad gets me the biggest bang for the buck, lowest wear, least dust, quick stopping.

OEM - $185
Nismo - $153
Hawk Race - $195
Hawk HPS - $78
Metal Metrix - $128

Thanks for your help.

HP+
I used them on track days and everyday street driving.
you might have some fitment problems with the front pads though, nothing that a belt sander or grinder can't solve.
be aware that using aggressive compounds will eat up your rotors and have a lot of brake squeek on low speed stops. otherwise, they perform fairly well if you would compare them to something like Hawk Blue Race pads, they're definetly an improvement over the OEM pads.

I dont know how the Nismo pads are. I wouldnt mind trying them if my sponcer would provide them for me.

The HP+ is a Hawk brand. Stoptech sells them, as well as the some of the major sponcers of G35Driver have them on their online stores. I got mines free so, I wouldnt know the price of them, at least...I can't recall their price. sorry. Good stuff though!!!!!

you'd be a good candidate for the Hawk HPS.

try 350zonline, hopupracing, 350zforums... they should have a lot better prices then then the ones you got.

i got mine from 350z online... very good, quick shipping.

I'm in the same boat, I'm still deciding between Project MU and Endless.

I vote for Project Mu pads also.

I have Project Mu B-Force pads and they are best pads I used so far. I used stock, Satisfied Ceremics & Hawk HPS.

They are superior to all of them and has great bite. I have little squeak from rear left brakes from time to time but nothing major.

I think I might try Endless nextime or go with Project Mu-B Force again.

You have another 10k till your brakes warranty runs out! Hawk Pads have no DUST! .. and they are said to be the best .. but some dealers void your brake warranty if you use after market Brake Pads.. i'd just have the dealer replace them till you have warranty.
