that sucks.

They are trained staff so they should be able to fix it for you just as about
as good as at any other dentwizard shop unless the ding is in a real tricky
location. $99 is what they usually charge.

I was laughing at this one shop called Carnica in my area that fixes small
dents cause their frikken shop is so damn small and crowded that you'll
probably end up with a new ding by the time they're done with the car.

I got a ding that i want to have it fix. However, the shop wants to drill a "tiny" hole under by the tire wheel to get to the left rear quarter panel. Has anybody had this issue before?

can the dent be taken out without drilling any holes, maybe by using suctioning cups or anyother method?

I remember reading somewhere the tool(s) they use to get the dent out will severeley scratch the metal on the inside. If you don't coat the repair area corrosion may occur.

I cant believe you guys park by cars. If I have to park a quarter mile away thats what I will do. People care about other peoples cars its just accidents occur when you fling the door open we all do it. So get a little excersise park far away and walk

Yeh, usually no drilling. depending on where the location of the dent is, they
will snake in their tools between the panels and massage out the dent.
If they have to drill an access hole in the door jamb, etc. they'll ask for
your permission first. Even if they did drill, they plug it up and
warranty their work.

The only time they use professional-grade suction cups is when there
is absoletly no way to access the dent from between the panels and
no way to drill an access hole... like on some car's roofs after hail damage.

yeah, park far away and there will always be an ***-hole that will
park next to you and ding it or mash your bumper and run.

best solution is to get another car for your daily errands. that's the
only way.

I've actually heard good things about Dent Wizard. There are some dents that it actually works really well on, that you wouldn't be able to tell were there. And then there are dents on other cars that when you pull out the dent, it leaves a crease of where the ding was folded at. But hey! you can't expect it to do it all for yah!

I bought mine on a wednesday and on saturday afternoon I come out from lunch and there it is, took some paint off too. Waited for the people, called the cops, they said they couldnt do anything b/c it wasnt public property. I parked out in the middle of nowhere next to my dads corvette.

...i think it really depends all on the place where the dent is exactly, some dents can be back to like 99.99999% brand new, but some will never be the same. I called dent wizard before but decided to just try those "as seen on tv" dent kits, and that had a decent result so I just decided not to go with them....

...has anyone had that metal tacking process dent puller thing done to their car? I don't know what its called, but I've seen it done once and was wondering how the results were. I guess its just they weld on a pin of some sort instead of drilling a hole... maybe that would be better? *shrugs*
