After having installed an OEM rear spoiler, has anyone bothered to remove their interior 3rd brake light? I would like to remove mine. However, I don't know if it's worth the trouble, if any.

I've read that the process will leave a hole in the rear panel. I understand that a new rear panel is available for non 3rd brake light applications. However, I would like to avoid the additional costs.

Any suggestions and/or comments?

 

Just disable the 3rd brake light and leave the pod there... w/ my tinted windows the pod is hardly noticible =)
