The Greddy looks awkward without the grills in it, as you see too much of the cars "chassis" and components. But one word of caution with the grills, if you pait them, be prepared to paint them again and again and again, as they will start to chip shortly after use (from everyday road use). My suggestion, get them powder coated and that'll help keep them black longer (chip free) or just get plastic grills (hard to find, but they do make them) which obviously won't chip off paint. The cheap and most taken path is the good old can of spray paint, but once again, be prepared to paint them over and over again, and unless you plan on taking the bumper on and off each time you have to spray them, you will have to tape and mask off the entire areas surrounding the grills and most of the bumper, each time its ready for another coat. Bottom line, it can be really annoying. So do it RIGHT the first time...
I painted the big front part black, left the 2 little side pieces silver (the actual mesh color), and left the 2 pieces on the sideskirt silver. IMO the silver does NOT look as good as painted all black, but I do suggest keeping the grills unless you go FI, then the grills won't even be noticable
thanks for the imput guys!
