Thanks for all of the welcomes and congrats! I am still in shock that it's mine! When I get out and look back, I have to do a double take. lol

I should have been more specific on the VA laws: 20 over the limit or 80 mph (whichever is less) is reckless. So, 45 in a 25 is reckless. Or 80 in a 65.

And then 90+ on ANY road is jail for that 1 day for every mph over 90.

That's not automatic, is it? I mean, that's the maximum punishment, but they're not doing that to EVERYONE that gets caught, are they?

wow...no wonder they don't do the gumball through VA. Some of those guys would spend 100 days in jail!

I doubt everyone who does 90+ will get jail time. I roommate in college did 110mph in VA and ended up getting two tickets, speeding and changing lane without signaling. No jail time for him but it was out on I-81 in the middle of nowhere. I guess if you were closer to a city and there's a jail near by, they'll stick you in there for a night.

The 90+ law is not too old... maybe 8 months... And, it is automatic. There's an exception to every rule, but this one so far has been pretty much enforced. If you're caught over 90, you can expect to go to jail. When I get the chance, I am out of VA!!!

I've had a few people asking what I paid, so here it goes:

Sticker: $40,110
Before TTF: $38,000

I don't know what others are paying, but I had heard that they don't move on the 6-speeds. Overall, I am happy with my deal. It wasn't pulling teeth or anything like that.

No Worries

Just go ahead and get a good radar detector (with stealth) and be prepared to conceal. Even while illegal in VA, the fine for finding one ($50) is still worth not meeting Bubba.

By the way, what price below MSRP did you get from Patrick? I'm going to Passport as soon as '06 changes are announced!
