Hello...
I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking for the last month or so and just got "the call" from Hyatt Infiniti saying that there had been a cancellation and that an '05 Silverstone on Stone coupe was sitting in the port if I wanted it now instead of waiting another six weeks for my order.
Hmmmm....
Needless to say I am now coming out of the woodwork and getting ready to take delivery in a week or so...

Thanks for the welcome
It is a 5MT (a concession to my wife who does not seem to have the ability to coordinate her left foot and right hand) but that works anyway...easier on the spray, less to worry about. It is a sport package w/out Nav.
I have been building and driving muscle cars most of my life and, in all honesty, at 35 years old this is my first import I have ever owned so it is a big step for me.
The majority of my research has been at the performance modifications and I give this car a 1 in 10 chance of making it 24 hours without tweaking (although I will most likely give the majors some time as I would perfer to work through most of the big mods on the dyno). For now looking at the basics, intake, exhaust, grounding, and (probably over the winter) FI. The jury seems to be out on plenums on the 05's so I will either be patient and wait for proof or a I will bite the bullet and prove something on my own.
I have to say the the G community here seems to among the most knowledgeable and ... creative ... that I have found. I look forward to being able to contribute as much as I have taken away.
Thanks
