Ok wow the weirdest problem.. I need help from everyone asap

Hey everybody

OK i dont know whats going on...

- I went out 30mins ago, tried to start my car, Put the key in, No go..
The key wont turn at all.. Its not the steering lock because ive been driving for 2yrs now so i know all about steering locks and i know my G35 like the back of my hands...

I call roadside assistance and they are saying they gotta tow it to a dealership.. this sucks because i have to travel tomorrow, i also have to even pick someone up from airport, etc, and this is my only car.

and of course im not 21 so i cant even get a loaner..

Ok so has this ever happened to anyone?? You put your key in the ignition, but it wont turn,, and its not because of the steering cuz its not even locked...

Please help.

Yeah that happened to me, but I think it was the steering lock for me. I put mine in neutral to roll it up a bit cause I didn't want to start the engine, and then the wheel locked up. After that I couldn't even turn the key. All i did was unlock/lock the car a couple times and then i could start it.

my key wouldnt turn or come out until i pop it in place all the way... strangely this happened after I had my snow accident...

From what I understand, it has to be the steering lock. It locks very tightly sometimes, so be sure to pull the wheel hard one way or other to release it. There's nothing else to lock the wheel like that.
