What is the difference between the Z-tube and the stock equivalent?

What is the difference between the Z-tube and the stock equivalent? I want to get the JWT Pop charger. Someone told me NOT to get the Z-tube because all of the hp gains comes from the Pop Charger and the Z-tube is not much diferent than the stock tube. Is the Pop Charger alone a good idea?

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

The Z-tube does not have the those restricter chambers (one on top and that long one on the bottom) that our stock G-tube has, so the air flows freely thru the Z-tube without getting diverted into those chambers.......just my thoughts....

Z tube also has a straighter (shorter) airway path.

Z tube is straight and does not have the resonators that the stock tube has. If you want to have more HP do not get the Pop charger because it absorbs all the heat from the engine bay. The heat shield that the pop charger comes with is useless. Keep your stock box and get the K&N filter replace the stock filter then install a Z tube. Who ever told you that the Z tube doesn't do a thing doesn't know what he is talking about.

Regardless of whether thoughts on the Z tube add a benefit or not . . . The fact remains that the Z tube is straighter and has no other paths for the incoming air to deviate to. Thus, the air travels straighter and quicker to its' intended destination.

Velocity is increased and the volume of air, as well. Just my thoughts.
