High Flow Cat Question
High Flow Cat Question
Just a simple question guys:
If I were to install say Crawford High Flow Cats on a stock exhaust system, how would the sound be? I am in love with the stock hum of the G35 coupe exhaust and would not want to lose it. Performance is great but since the gains are minimal anyways, I would like to retain the stock exhaust note if at all possible.
Responses by those who have just the high flow cats would be appreciated

Ya know - asking a question like that is like asking:
"If I take my shirt off, how much colder will I be?"
Not trying to be wise, but yes, those changes will add power. You're improving the intake and the exhaust, (breathing) smart things to do. Will you feel it? Probably. How much maybe 10 to 12 HP. I would also do the "Z" tube.

yep, those mods will add power and torque, you should feel a small increase......will your car suddenly snap your head back after adding these mods? no......but if you have a 2005.....there are a few threads that show the spacer does not add any noticiable gains..........
