was going to get a G this week, I wanna know prices.
Im looking at a Silver g35 auto. It has sports tuned suspension and Premium and aero package and the sticker is 37.5. Also theres a Silver one with Sports, Premium, Nav, Aero, Sirius radio, sticker on that is 40k.
He said he'd sell the fully loaded one for 39,5. I was with my dad and we said umm no thanks well be back next week maybe youll give us real prices. So I wanna know, should I try and bargain the 37.5 one to like 34.5 or should I just try and get a VPP? This guy seems like he aint going to budge, and I want a car next week and the next closest dealer is like 15 miles. Any tips?
Thanks

Try to get VPP, but on an auto you should be able to strike a bargain WITHOUT much problems....go to another dealer or do the internet quote thing. People have been getting great internet first deals without even haggling...
OK before I head to the other dealers I am going to make him an offer, 500 above invoice. Is this a good deal? Or how about 1000 above invoice?
I will never take his 500 off msrp deal now way.

Are you kidding, drive the 15 miles, you sound like thats two hours away or something. There should be no reason why you shouldnt get at least 2500 off sticker now a days. Even if you get it for invoice remember dealers always make some sort of profit off all their cars either through the volume of cars they sell or by little fees in processing such as "document fees". So dont feel sorry for them there still making money. Go in there and only talk to the manager and say this is what i want and this is what I can pay if he cant do it then you have to walk. Screw VPP just go and talk to the main man and deal. Talk only to the manager or the head hancho, no salesman
Since the 06 models might be getting close you should be able to get maybe even 200 to 300 over invoice. Start in with those numbers and see how close you can get them. Just be ready to walk away. Let them call you back in to get the price you want to pay. Most people are not ready to walk off the lot. That is when the sales person knows they have you and you are going to pay more than you wanted.
Make sure you get the out the door price set in your price as well. Taxes, tags, and the bogus processing fee.

As you walk away...let them know your headin over to the other dealer....they will shlt thier pants because they know how much thier competitors are letting these cars go for (and it is DEF not the price that are askin for)...they were probably trying to "fish" the morons out first with this tactic...and if they are to cocky and don't budge, then you don't want thier busines anyhow because thier service now means that your maintenance service won't be as good either, or if something further down the line happens where you need them to work on your car, they might be "cocky" about that too and give you a hard time.

15 miles away? Why is that even a question of whether or not to go to them? We went 90 miles to get our 2nd G because that was the next closest dealer to the one that didn't want to work with us. We picked up the phone, told them what we wanted and asked them what their best prices were. We called all the dealers in the state and drove to the one that wanted to make deal good enough to buy. If you want a good price and you know what you want then make it happen.
I honestly believe than many Infiniti dealers think they are selling Porsches.
The whole reason they don't want to "deal" on these cars is that too damn many people buckle and give in. If every consumer played hard ball with these folks, and walked when they couldn't get $500 invoice, everyone would be able to get one at a decent price. When Joe Sucker out there is just gives in, dealers don't want to deal when you show up because they could just sucker someone else into paying what they want.

I bought my car from a dealer 15 miles away even though my nearest one is about 3 miles away...but only because they had the exact fully loaded DG the first week the 05's reached the Long Beach Port (SoCal) and were released.
I am one of these fools...sorry guys...(but don't blame me, I got mine the first week off of a waiting list, so I guess its alright???) At that time no dealer in SoCal was budging.
