Hey all, was just over at www.infinitihelp.com and in California, Infiniti is extending coverage for replacing rotors and brake pads for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles because there was a law suit that was brought concerning how quickly they needed to be replaced. So can I just go in any dealer and ask them to do it? Anyone done this already or has any more info? Thanks!

What model do you have? Only 03-04 auto coupes and auto/manual sedans are covered. Your pads have to be at 3mm or less for the replacement.

Yeah, I have an '03. Do you know about the rotors? Do they have to say "Yeah, it looks like it's gonna go so we'll replace them" or "They look fine for now" and refuse to change them?Originally Posted by g35doc

rotors? they won't replace them.. they'll resurface them at most.. i had my brakes done about 4 months ago jus before my warranty ran out (35,9xx, when i brought it in)..
and yes, they are really **** about the bads too.. they wouldn't replace mine until it was 1mm left.. *sigh*

They will resurface the rotors before replacing them. On my old coupe the fronts were replaced and rears were resurfaced.

They wont replace the Brembo equipped ones. But my dealer was not so bitchy about servicing my old 03 sedan. My wife drives it right now when I drove it today, I really felt that sedan brakes in shorter distance than the coupe, but too sensitive.
