I don't think you grasp the "out the door" term (Add Tax, License, Registration, and Documentation), that will be approximately couple thousand more to whatever the negotiated price is. Used 04's at dealers don't even go for that much, even if you negotiate a base coupe with NO OPTIONS, it comes out to more after tax, lic, etc...go ask daddy again

But congrats

I foresee another "I want to trade in my 05 AT for an 05 MT but my parents won't let me" thread soon...

of course it wont be mine, until i get my SAT scores, but hey, we still getting the coupe...
Damn, a G35 for taking the SAT..I sure hope the deal wasn't to get a 1600, your grammar skills need some work

The correct terminology for "what dealer pays" is called invoice, minus of course any manufacturer incentives which none of us including your dad is told about. The invoice price of a 2005 coupe 5AT with Premium, Sport, Aero and Splash plus destination is $34,9xx. If by "everything but nav" you mean satellite radio and full aero kit too, add another $900 to your invoice. If you're really getting it for 32k OTD, congrats you struck the deal of the century, $5000 UNDER invoice (so your dealer is losing 5 grand on it) Seriously though, glad you're finally getting a coupe in your family. I know you've been working a lot. What dealership is that?

Thats awesome, good luck on the SAT scores, I know I needed it! I got a 1800 on the new SAT.

Haha, I also see a trade-in thread coming, as I did the same thing with my 04 AT for an 05 MT. I am paying the difference though, also paid 5k on the first car.

New SAT? You damn kids and your extreme fruit drinks and new SATs. Back in my day, the highest you could score was a 1600. Hell, I had to walk 15 miles in the snow just to take the SATs, and then they set me on fire while I was taking the test.

I bet the last part of the test is to bare-knuckle box a polar bear. Yeah, that would be pretty damn extreme!

Maybe they started the new SAT so people would hate it, and then they could bring back the old SAT and call it "SAT classic"

Ok, I have to stop now, I am having way too much fun with this.
