I am debating whether or not to do the verticle doors on my ride. I too would like to know what door kit you have, any modifications needed to put it on and the total cost for the kit and installation. Also do the doors go straight up or do you need to open them a bit first and then lift up.

Agreed. I guess it would be nice for tight parking spots but I just can't imagine pulling into a spot and swinging up the doors. Then have everyone within visual range laugh at me. Just my opinion though.

The rest of the car looks great. I dig the whole blue color scheme. Sharp.

It is a GT Factory Diablo Door kit. They are located in San Diego. Their number is 858-566-6969 and you could ask for Dan. It took them about 5 days to install them. The kit itself was $1000 and the labor was another $1000. So I paid 2G's out the door. The kit is welded onto the car body and not the cheap bolt ons which will have to be tightened over time due to wear. I know some may not like them, but I just wanted to be a little bit different. The doors actually do swing out about 15-18 inches before being lifted up. So you can just slide out of your ride w/o attention or you can lift them up if you please. I also do have side pics of my car, but my friend Bill hasn't put them up yet for me (he has a busy schedule). I don't know too much about computers, I'm only a PE Teacher lol . So hopefully I will have some side pics of my ride. My car will be on their add coming soon, they never did a G35 before, many other cars, but not a G. It will be on Dupont Registry, Modified Magazine, and I believe Turbo. So if you see an Athens blue G on the GT Factory add, that's my ride

i think it looks pretty good. i usually am not a fan of lambo kits but thats usually because it goes hand-in-hand with gaudy wide body kits and 30" wheels (overexaggeration)

It looks really nice. I notice your windows looks a little blue. Did you tint your window to blue. It looks good on the Athens Blue. I have CB. Little brighter than yours. Athens Blue is great color choice as well. Love your ride!

Do the doors close/seal well? Any leaks or anything?

yeah, the doors do close well and seal well, after you close the door, the window still does the slight close thing. Everything is fine so far.
