This maybe a possibility i.e, that SUV or sedan's door caused the dent. However, not only the location of the dent is similar on all coupes, the location of the dent itself is a bit high for door dings. Finally, most people here who care about dents have been very careful about parking next to other cars to the extent that are very selective in choosing a parking spot. Then again, everything is possible.

hey.. i got that dent too.. and i was b*tching for a while thinking some old lady or truck driver just slammed into my side....

However, is there anyway to fix that dent? I mean, it looks like a "dent". I never noticed that before my car went to service. What is going on here? Do new cars have dents too?

Most cars have slight dents at the end of the panels due to the stamping of the panels in the maufacturing process. You usually notice it really well on black cars. I noticed it on my dg when I bought it. (even though I know what it is it still bothers me a little

heh well this is strange..

It is a possibility its from the stamping of the panel, I thought it was either something there or from someone elses doors hitting my car.

My Infiniti dealer actually pointed this out to me when I brought it in for an oil change, and said they could remove it for $125 with Dent Wizard, that it would come right out. Maybe its just some scam to have this dent on every G35 for them to make money on dent repair, who knows?

I was about to use Dent Wizard, however, it so seems all the G-coupes have this dent for whatever reason, so i can live with it and keep the $125 in my pocket... Actually, it may do more damage than good trying to remove the"imaginary" dent.
