nah, the crankshaft sensor is an 'outtie', not an 'innie'. Anything outside of 45 mins with your car is purely for their pleasure, you know like working out by tightening random bolts under your car while blaring "Sweatin' to the Oldies". Hey, a tech has got to stay in shape too. Or so I heard, from a friend...

I had a maf sensor go bad on my 03 pathfinder with the VQ35. It would not rev over 2400 rpms at all, it acted like a rev limiter when I hit that point, just kinduv bounced off it and jerked the truck.

could be a bad fuel injector, which might cause the computer to go into limp mode...dont know man..sorry
