The night vision was actually pretty good; I’ll say it’s a lot better than the stock HID. Especially if there’s a white car in front of you, you will see now pretty the light comes out.
I paid around 120 on eBay; just make sure you get the D2R. It’s the type of our lights

U dont have to take the tires off to change the headlight bulbs. I changed mine just turned the tire in. There's not alot of room but it was plenty to get in there and change it. I just took out the 4 or 5 clips and 1 screw and pulled the liner down. Then it was easy to get to the back of the light. I will agree that with the tire off you'll have more room but if you dont wanna take the tire off you can do it without removing the wheel. I'll post pics of my lights tonight. I used to have 6000k in my RSX but I wanted more color cause after they heat up they look more white with a blue cast. 12000k is a deep color and actually gets darker the more they heat up!! Just adding my .02!!!

Cool, I think that's even better for others that wanted to change the bulbs without taking out the tires.

12000K!! that's like super purple!! it will look pretty good, I was thinking on that too. but I am afraid that will be too dark to see. and you might get a ticket for it. since cops in the bay area really have nothing to do buy giving out fix-it ticket.

please post some pic on your 12000K, I think it will look grate.

I'll take some pics tonight and then post them. I thought initially that the light output would be horrible because of the high color but its very minor difference between mine and stock. They are blue when they come on then about 5 min later after they are fully heated up they get dark purple!! One of the best investments yet on my car I love em and people constantly ask me about them cause they catch your attention even in the day time!!

looks good. I like the DVD setup.

I had 6000k in my old car (Audi S4) and thought they were too purple and I didn't think I saw any better at night.

How good do DVD's look on the stock NAV screen? I heard that because its not active display (or whatever its called) ... that fast moving input like DVD or video games would look like crap. What has your experience been?

Has anybody hooked up a PS2 or Xbox to one of the stock screens?

I personally had never try in with PS2 or Xbox. but I play my DVD movie in the car all the time and I am very happy with it. i mean, it's not goona be the best display like your LCD TV. but it's good enough to view it.
but sometimes with you just start the car during the night time and play a movie. you will see there's some lines on the display for about 2 min. after the screen warm up (I assume) . then everything just fine.

hope what will answer your questions. good luck on the mod
