I've heard people have had good success with the Toyos...sticky and you should be able to get 20-25k out of them...

the 19's look decent, and i don't have enough money for 20's. I'm starting to lean towards the T1-R's, but which tire T1R or F1 have better treadwear. They are both listed at 280 but each manufacture is different. I want 25k to 30k miles out to the tires.

25k-30k miles out of high performance tires? HA...I laugh at your thought. 15k miles out of high performance tires would be awesome. 25k-30k miles...you are talking about a good passenger car tire.

dude i had an E36 M3 before with SSR comp C and S03 when they first came out about 2 years ago, during college and they lasted 20k miles. So trying to get 25k out my tire selection is not something that is out of the question. I'm just trying to be economical with my purchase, some of us watch our fianaces cause we don't have mommy and daddy to provide( not assuming that you do). And to be honest my M3 handles much better than the G, it's that the G looks so much better.

And before you laugh at a person's notion, you should gather some information about the person. Because i don't drive my car hard, hence that's why i want to attain 25k miles.

Falken GR-Beta FK-615 or Azenis RT-615.
The GR-B is a good street tire, good for track days too. They're one of the more popular tires that Japanese drifters use. The RT-615 is a good DOT-R-compound tire. It rivals Advan and Toyo DOT-R compound tires. I will be putting a set of RT-615 on my extra set of rims for Road Racing only, or possibly Hoosier R3S04 R-Comp tires.

Typical of all DOT-R compound tires, they all wear down quickly because of the softer compoud.

If you're not getting 50k+ out of a passenger car tire, you're either driving sideways or live on a long gravel road. 20-25k out of a performance tire isn't unreasonable.

The most I have ever gotten out of a performance tire was 12K. I can see getting 20-25k out of them if you were on the freeway all the time and no track events. I drive home everynight on a twisty mountain road, it's my stress relief.

I would like to see some Kumo's in the OEM 19" size, so far no luck.

I hit some great twisty's getting back to Duvall from Redmond. You're right, great stress reliever. Since my stress is fairly proportionate to my driving style returning home, I may need a Lamborghini soon.
