Does anyone know of a fix for the bose sterio settings that keep resetting after the car is turned off? I dont wanna change the whole unit and what not. Its just gay that something like this is not fixed before they send the cars out.

Do you put bass/treble all the way up to 5? Try putting them at 4 instead.

I read a post that someone has unit changed at the dealers two times. Then he started getting rattles in his car, and the problem was never fixed. so he bought a diff sterio.

F#$k Bose im getting a new sterio next year.

Yep I did 4 also

soon as you turn it on sounds like crap

put the bass on 3 then 4
then treble on 3 then 4
and its way better sounding.

Garbage sterio

Tried everything. I think most people have. eventually you work your way down to flat settings and end up leaving it there.

When you shut the car off and turn it back on later, your settings display thier last setting but aren't really at that setting, but are flat. You only really notice it if you like lost of treble/bass and want that setting at 5. Start the car back up later and it sounds flat, bump down to 4, then back to 5 and tons of treble or bass again. Although, the speed setting seems to stays the same, go figure.

I've had the same problem since day one. One thing that really helped me with the radio quality was a grounding kit. I installed Gorges 10-wire ground kit and it sounded liked I installed a new unit! I still have slightly better quality if I adjust up then down on the settings but the sound is very good (and much improved) even if I don't.

When my treble is set to 5 and bass to 5, and I restart my car, both the treble and bass drop (but the numbers stay the same). If I set the treble to 4 and the bass to 4, the treble stays the same after a restart (which is plenty) but the bass is too low.

I solved by adding an amp and subwoofer with a remote gain. Now I have plenty of treble after every restart and, of course, plenty of bass.

Yeah, mine does the samething. But only at +5 tho. You can also fix it by cranking it up to volume 20. But that's not a permanent fix either. But this is not a BOSE problem. It's the Head Unit made by Clarion that's creating this. Bose only offers all speakers. wiring, and the amp. Unfortunately, no fix for this problem but my friend at Nissan HQ in Japan are looking in to this.
