Weird noise when accelerating

Do you guys know or have this problem.... when I accelerate sometimes my car makes this weird noise... It sort of sounds like the noise when you stall. It is a weird noise I get when I accelerate 2nd gear... It does not always happen and when I bring it to the dealership to get it checked out I don't htink I can recreate the same noise. Can anyone help me? Thank you much.

I had a similar problem and I took it immediately to the dealer. Turns out my car had less than 2 quarts of oil in it. No signs of leaks/drips. Drain plug was tight. They don't know wtf happened. The car drives fine though. Wierd... I hope it doesnt happen again. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, my G with only 3440 miles on it consumes alot of oil. Took it in a couple of days ago. There was a rattling noise coming fron the engine's valve train. They have my G on a 1000 mile oil consumption test, at this time.

With regard to the weird noise . . . I had the same in 1st and 2nd gear. At times when I went on light throttle in either gear there would be a very light and short burst of pinging. It did not always happen, but it was irritating nonetheless. I decided to replace the K & N drop-in filter and replaced it with the OEM air filter and the pinging has stopped.

Just my 2 cents.........I'm thinking it's because most of you guys are @ssholes and no doubt have a ******* up your hole and the noise that you hear is perhaps the grinding of the d*ldo batteries running overtime cuz you dooshes need to get a phuckin life. I will say this once, and listen because I am older and much wiser than most (probably all) of you..............your car is a piece of chit..........aint much more than a riced out Honda "out of the box"....get over it, for a tad more than $35k, you get what you pay for........a sh*tbox............suckerbuttttttt. You would have been much better served having purchased a late 80's Mustangs with all of it's frills. but hey, it's not a total loss..........your sister gives good head...this I can confirm. NEXT. And your Mom ain't too bad either!!!!!!!

These comments will obviously be taken with serious consideration. I feel quite sorry for your current state of mind. How long has it been since your last Psychiatric Exam? You appear to be quite well spoken and extremely well read. I am proud to heed your advice and approach the said with fear and trembling.
