if you are only going to do one performance mod and FI is out of the question go with 3.9 final drive gear. You will fee that mod.

Port match and polish every component in the intake/exhaust system. Your cost for materials is about $60. Even if you only get 10 WHP, that's an incredible HP/$ ratio for our cars.

Bang for the buck mods:

Performance - Motordyne Spacer

Sound - Z-Tube

Wheels - 05 Rays wheels

Handling - Stillen or Hotchkis sway bars (don't do springs w/o shocks)

Economic - Synthetic oil

I a gree I would get 3.9 rear diff in a heartbeat. And have a mod that increses performance in the 1/4 by half a second and is VERY noticeable.

I do, because the Crawford keep keeps things equal. With the Motordyne, while it improves things, there is still that imbalance because of the top shape of the OEM plenum. BTW, the angle is there for hood clearance on the 350Z. The "G" hood has ample clearnce.Lou

Well if you're not into TT's and S/C's may I suggest the new, Vortec intake mod?
