This is a g35 forum and i dont know why people put down the coupe so much.. I am not trying to start beef but as a fellow Coupe owner how can people put threads up of races between a sedan and a coupe. in my opinion i think the coupe is fast and with a little work it can be even faster so why knock a car you own. Thats what i dont get if i was someone interested in buying this car and i came to this forum i would not buy one just for the simple reason of people bad mouthing the car and i dont care if u lost because it was 85 degrees outside adn teh sea level was above 1000 feet thats a little overboard i mean come one.. All i can say is that i love my car and yes i want a M3 or an S4 but im only 17 and a car priced that high isnt really in reason for me right now. But i can truely say my next car will be something other then infiniti just because of people who own the car and still talk **** about it, like they expected an CL 65 wen they drove out of the dealership. Its not everybody either just from what ive seen and read in the past couple of months also I have met alot of cool people of this board so im not trying to disrespect anybody or start a war, just my opinion

i LOVE my G!! but then again i haven't had any problems with it for me to bad mouth my own ride...

and for one, i didn't get the G to be racing it, so if i ever lose to any other car, then i wouldn't bath mouth my car for the fact that i didn't get it for that! i got it cuz it's a chick magnet!!!

 

Every car depreciates. And they all do a sizeable amount. A 2001 boxster S would set you back around 50G, and that same car with 30K miles or so is now worth 30G, 4 years later, lost almost half it's value. No car under 100K holds it value enough to say you loose less with one car vs. another. Just my opinion. You drive what you like.

 

im not worried about the value im just saying E46 drivers all think there the **** wether there car is or isnt but if u ask a 330ci driver if he would win against a G he would prob say well i would pull in the end and walk away.. and if asked on this forum someone would probably agree which is why i dont understand, we dont back up our cars for **** whether its racing or anything.

 

The G Is More Reliable Then A M3, And A M3 Is Not Mans Car, Its A Boys Car. A Sl65 Is A Mans Car. The G Is Hotter Then A M3, Half The M3's You See Are 325i's With The M3 Front And Rear Bumprer. Its Not Doubt A Niuce Car But The G I Think Is Better Looking, And More Unique.

You do realize that BMW's forums have the reputation of being a**holes specifically due to the owners arrogance and you want people of this forum to be like them?

People here gives respect to other cars and are realistic about what their cars can do. You should do the same and grow up. Can you really argue that a Civic with a swap and a turbo CAN'T beat us? People like you are the one that would argue over 10 pages how it's still a Civic and how you drive an Infiniti and bla bla bla. There is no need to be arrogant and not give props where prop is due.

 

I know two 330i owners personally (one zhp), and they respect the G. And on the highway I was the one walking away (albeit slowly)

I think you are just taking some internet stuff too personally, don't forget it's a small cross section of the real owner base.

And also don't forget how lucky you are to own (lease?) this car at 17!!

 

i agree, part of it is this forum though. the FA forums tend to be more mature and appropriate in that aspect. i think its partly because that forum is better moderated and has a better admin backing it. i also think its because there are more mature people over there...
