Need help with cai install asap!!

I am installing an injen cai in my 05 6mt coupe.
After I installed everything, the car starts, idles rough for a few seconds and stalls!!
I think I installed everything correctly but I forgot to disconnect the battery.
I disconnected it and reconnected the battery but it does the same thing.

The only connections is the hose at the beginning of the first pipe and the maf connector, correct? Also, the picture shows the connector facing up but when I removed it it was facing the ac lines. Does it matter how it goes?
Maybe I need to reset the ecu but I dont know how.
Please help!!

Sounds like a vac leak... Check your connections, make sure nothing loose or not fitted correctly. Make sure you have your MAF sensor on correctly (facing the correct way). I don't think reseting your ECU will solve your problem, but give it a shot......

the only hose I disconnected is the 5/8" hose that connects to the first part of the intake near the throttle body.
The only other thing is the maf sensor. Which way is it supposed to face? I put it on the same way I removed it facing the as lines.
Thanks for the help

your MAF is backwardsfor sure. the arrow on the MAF should be point twards your throttle body.

flip that B!tch around and enjoy.

^^You are correct.
I figured that out myself because it was the only thing that it could have been.
Man, I was in a rush to do it before it got dark and ended up screwing it up.

Anyway, it seems a little louder than stock. I only drove it for about 5 minutes so I cant tell any performance difference. It does seem to rev better between 3500 and 4500 and does look good.
