The first pearl white on production was the Audi in the 80's. They wanted extra $800 cdn for the paint.

I had my choice off the lot of Black or DG and went with DG cause I could see all the dirt on the Black and the wheels seemed to match the DG better. I gotta say when waxed up, all Gs look awesome - but at night the reflection of street lights on the black is something special - no doubt about it. I just couldn't keep it that clean.
That said, a DG coupe with clear corners and super white LEDs all around (including license plate bulbs) look tooo cool, especially at night - there's a glow to that car!

had a chance to get a black one or the DG i did end up with.... wanted black until I saw what paint chips do to Nissan's black paint jobs.
They all beautiful cars, guys. Just a tip to the guys in black... careful what you follow, or put a bra on it. That primer stands out like white/bright gray once the paint's chipped off.

You tellem Benbo. We can go longer in between washes, our paint doesn't stand out when scratched or chiped, and DG has class!!!!!!
Who cares about this color war fellas...let it go. You buy the color you like. There is no gender in colors. I see girls driving black too...so white is not a "girly" color. But to be honest....I have yet to see a chick in a DG, and THATS THE TRUTH!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
