Just put on the Invidia exhaust and wow!

I got my G about 3 weeks ago and happened to get a good deal from one of my dealers on this exhaust. Well to say the least I am thoroughly impressed. Post install you can definitely feel the difference, RPM's rise quicker, maybe a couple of horses. I would highly recommend this system to anyone, especially if you like your stock tone, just deeper. Here are some pics from the install...

Oh, and if anyone needs a stock '05 exhaust please pm me with an offer. The car is 3 weeks old and has 750 miles on it. I do have pictures if you need.

Arrow Invidia piping size

Isn't the piping on the Invidia system really small? I thought it was roughly the same size as stock, if not smaller in diameter?

It sounds basically the same as stock, except a little louder? That's what people describe the Fujitsubo and Apexi WS to sound like. I wonder if you put all three exhausts next to each other, if they'd all sound the same.

By the way, it looks like theres no resonators on the piping. I'd expect the exhaust to be MUCH louder than stock...

Yes the piping is small, however you are now moving to a true dual exhaust which gives you more size.

the piping is 60mm on each side. 2.36" is hardly small.

this is the same as the hks, and the injen.

UsernameNotUsed: You don't hear any droning inside the cabin with this exhaust? It doesn't look like there are any resonators on the piping before the muffler.

ok first off... I own this system and it owns!

I must say it sounds NOTHING like stock. It almost sounds like a subaru exhaust. The tone of the G is hardly there, but it does sound mean as FU*K.

I've had many people pull up to me to tell me how mean it sounds. Piping looks small, but it does the job. remember, bigger isn't always better.

There are no resonators on the piping... I believe the 350Z G200 system comes with them.

Fitment isn't bad. I've had a couple people have the same problems I had when I installed my exhaust. Bank 1 exhaust side pipe was slightly rubbing against the chasis. All I did was take a soft ball pien hammer and hit in the floor pan. Never even tell I hit it in afterwards.

I'm really **** about stuff and also notice that one of the exhaust tips sticks out further than the other, I also noticed this on another coupe and have the same problems.

Overall, the exhaust is great... looks nice, sounds mean, and it's true dual.

The pipes are 50mm on each side, about 2 inches. Yes I have the system. I added an "H" pipe to mine, and it improved it. Smoother idle and better sound. This system is a real dual (twin paths in the muffler) unlike the Borla which uses an "X" type muffler where the gasses mingle. The Borla is NOT a true dual system, no matter what anyone says. My system is made up of Crawford Headers, Cats and the Invidia G200.

Ya know I installed this yesterday and the more im driving it the more evil this thing sounds. I absolutely love what im hearing so far. I got the setup for $585 and installed it at my friends shop. If anyone on LI needs work done, you can contact me anytime. My friends shop does great work for a decent price.

And yes, the sounds aside, you can definitely feel the difference.
