I believe Speed Magazine, and it's website, is done by Road and Track Magazine. So like their site, it's an "issue" behind the magazine that's on newstands. Acutally... I've noticed the trend with several magazine/sites. It IS a good read though, I also have the same issue. It's well worth checking out. It also goes into the brakes/suspension setups on the cars.
yup its very insightful. i have the magazine, not sure where on the site it is... i think they are one issue behind tho, they are published by road and track...

As for the article I bought the mag today, thanks for the Heads up man it was a good read it was exactly what I wanted to read a comparison of my new Vortech vs the competition .. Thanks again JDM_CPV35
none of these cars put up impressive times(13.4 1/4)...except the regular Z it did 5.5 0-60...fastest i've seen for the new engine..(14.2 1/4)the Stillen did real well considering it put out the least hp.....over all the vortech had the best 1/4....(13.0) oh yeah...they where all using 100 octane gas....and R compound tires......kept talking about smoking tires and short shifting to keep from smoking through second....makes me wonder about their driving skill.
If i can't consistantly do 12's i wouldn't spend the $$$....I can do high 13's now....

You watch too much speed channel or something..... Instant take off and seat sucking acceleration seems worth the money to me, its not all about the time slips...

No worries. His post was about as BS as they come. What was the point of his?
I liked the article... ...especially the sidebar about Mike's NA Z with the final drive gear swap. It got me looking at that mod more seriously again.
