Rhino Ramps
Anyone uses these? They're suppose to be good for two tons, but I want to know if there's any danger in going "overboard", and hence, the death of your car and possibly you?
How do people who use ramps know when to "stop" at the top?

its not possible to stop halfway up. They are very handy to have, but somewhat of a pain if your G is lowered, i got S-techs and i scrape my front end every time, just put a 2x12 infront of the ramp. You will feel your ride reach the top when you drive up them, then just push the clutch in and roll to the edge, pretty simple, you will get it after a few tries.

But I would be in trouble if I had to push in the clutch to roll to the edge - I only have 2 pedals down there!

knowing I'm gonna be under there, I take my tires up to 40psi before driving home. I also add some squares of left over 3/4 MDF right before the ramps.. not because I cant clear (very close without them), but I rarely push them when using the MDF. The weight is immediately on the ramp and it stays put.
agreed, obvious when youre at the top. If I'm not centered, or one pushed alittle and isnt on completely, I back off and try again. Not worth wingin' it. Although I dont bother with jack stands when I'm on them. I just use them for changing oil tho.

Where does everyone else get theirs? I've seen them at Wal-Mart for about $20-30. Are these the same ones? The labeling says they are but i'm not sure if it's an imitation b/c on the website they go for like $40.

I've got a set of ramp extenders that lessen the approach angle. Makes it much easier to get up the ramps and keeps your front air dam from scraping on the way up.
Going up halfway sounds like a bad idea to me. It's easy enough when you get to the top to feel the front wheels notch into place.

No problems going over. I'm sure you know, but make sure to secure them from sliding out, especially on the fronts. Rope, wood blocks, whatever. In my auto, I've had better results using manual mode in 1st. Seems to make it easier to torque stall and creep up under control.
