I have a couple of strange sounds and now a slight burning smell after the car has stopped running. First, upon start-up, there is a little "grrrr" noise that comes from the steering column. Second, after I reverse and put the car in drive, there is a noise that I can't really describe that comes at about 2000 rpm. I've scheduled a service with the dealer but don't want to get the run-around. I just had the 1st oil change done and with only a few thousand miles, feel that these things are not right. Please let me know what you all think and if you have had similar problems. Thanks

 

strange buzzing noise soon after the car has started moving is probably the ABS diagnostic (same sound as when ABS kick but shorter)
