Nissan Recall

I am shopping around for a G35 more likely will end up with a 6MT coupe by Saturday but my research led me to this.

I just wanted to know if the G35 since it is made by nissan and basically share the same platform as the Z is affected by the same problem. This will greatly affect my decision. Thanks guys.

The 'problem' is the same on the G. It can be fixed but you'll spend + - 1K in aftermkt parts w/ labor & even then it won't necessarily be perfect .... at least for long. The z & g are cars you fall in love with & sometimes you jus put up with a little crap from the honey. That doesn't make it right .... it just is what it is.

Nissan's design is in fact flawed @ mfg - they know it but like all the other mfg'ers are gonna have to be forced to admit it & stop the band-aid repairs. G's should probly be included in the CA suit. Neither of these cars are in any way perfect, but you'll love 'er anyway. The REAL downside is the rep that'll follow the cars when we trade them in or try to sell 'em.

I don't think the front end problems associated with the Z is nearly as bad as with our G's.
