My IPearl coupe has a either a bee or some other bug stain in the middle of my hood.
It's really buggin me. Can't get it out. Went right thru clearcoat.
Tried fine compound and solvent.
Want to try clay bar or Meguires scratch X next.
Anybody with suggestions?

 

How old is it?

If it's new, the sun's gonna fade it away. I used to get stains like you describe on my brilliant white Maxima - nothing would touch them. Then they'd just be gone...

 

Had the same thing happen to my G....just used a clay bar and good wax and it took it right out

 

It'll be gone soon... if the same problem I had. Just clean off the actual stuff that can come off and the stain will be gone sooner or later.
