Believe me, you have to see the V8 in the engine bay to truly appriciate how tight the fit is and how clean of a swap it is. It's impressive in itself....let alone what the car is capable of.

BTW, we've done plenty with the VQ...

One of our Twin D1 Grand Prix 350Z Longnose Widebodies...490ps

Same car before the widebody and conversion for D1...

290km/h

0-200km/h in 22 seconds

The car was at 460ps at the time it put these numbers down.

Our VQ30 Twin Turbo Longnose Widebody 350Z

700ps

It's our 2004 D1GP Series Champion driver, Ryuji Miki, practiving at Irwindale before the Feb 05 event...watch closely on his 3rd lap where he begins his initial drift....that's why he's the champ.

am i stating the obvious, but wouldn't this make it a g45tt? (using the nomenclature of things like the i30t and g20t)just wondering. Oh, and where do i sign up for a TS sponsorthingy so i can get one of these pups for free?

In all seriousness though, I'm very impressed and ya'll have done a great job.

Yeah, you're right about it namewise but the whole concept was Smoky being impatient for the next GTR so he decided to build his own....the V35 GTR. I hope you guys get to see the video...it's insane.

As far as the Z with engine swaps, we figured the RB26 and VQ30 we did were crazy enough. Smoky loves the Z but his favorite wangan cars are the GTR and the Supra so he did the engine swaps that matched with his vision.
