Clean-up Brembos

I'm bringing my car in for the 24,000KM (approx. 16K Miles) inspection this week. The maintenance mgr is recommending a full Brembo Brake clean-up, where according to him, they disassemble the calipers, clean, and reassemble the whole thing for $107 Canadian (approx. $85 USD). Is this required or is he trying to rip me off?

Sounds like a complete ripoff, especially with that little miles on it, and especially coming from the dealership.

well, the brakes can slide better with a brake dust clean up. You could do it yourself. All you do is take the pads out and put a little grease where they slide so they dont stick or anything.
