New *pics* had some work done...

Took it to the local vinyl shop, and had them do the rear valance and front grill inserts. Not 100% perfect, but I'm happy. Cost me $100, and if I don't like 'em, well, I'll just peel em off

The only problem with what they did, was that my stupid license plate mount is broken and I can't remove the screws (dealer must have done it when they took my plate off recently ) so the vinyl work was a little sloppy around it...but you can only see it if you are lying underneath the car. I figure its a cosmetic mod, and I don't see why somebody would be lying underneath my car

ps my car is really really dirty

I was just gonna go into the city and get the exact same thing priced out. I think it looks good. front passenger side looks like there are some crooked cuts, but not that noticeable

Thanks, yeah, it's not perfectly straight. They orig wanted $150 for it, but they agreed to do it for $100. So I would recommend haggling with them on it. The hardest part was explaining exactly what I wanted done

Not a fan of the front, but the rear valance looks hot in person if done right and with black or gunmetal wheels Can't tell from the pics but did yours come out like Matt's?

now if you could find a way to put a raised strip across the middle it would look alot like the ings face duct

edit: did a cheesy one with mspaint, but you can get the idea

For $100, I would take it back and demand that they redo it correctly. I'd be pretty pissed if it was that crooked. It's obvious enough to see in a small pic on a computer, so I'd be really bothered if I had to see it in person, and it was my ride...

Agreed. I think its a good idea I did it to my stock bumper a long time ago.

Looks good.
Hate to tell you this, but the cost of that vinly probably cost them around $5.00

A Friend of mine owns a sign shop. The mark up on that stuff is CRAZY!

Yes, I know what the vinyl costs. But you really only have three options.

1 - buy the vinyl yourself and cut if to the right shape (I'm not that skilled at cutting vinyl to odd shapes)

2 - Buy Bat's, which would have cost ~$75 for the pair, wait for them to be mailed, and then install them myself

3 - Pay $100 to have a shop do it all

I'm not sure if I feel it's nessasary to bring it back...I am happy with how it looks, so I guess it's a matter of should it be "100% perfect" or not...and I'm not so sure it would ever be perfect, regardless of who does it.
