Anyone have spinners on their cars??
Let him get whatever he wants to get. Thats whats great about buying a car...it becomes yours. If you want to paint it pink (and I have seen that thread)...go for it. You want Lambo doors...go ahead. If you want spinners...go ahead. Its your ride and if you want to spend the money to do it, go for it.
What makes one persons mods better than the next. It doesn't. I know 99% of the people here hate spinners and thats fine. But he asked if anyone had them. That is what these forums are for...information. Telling people to die and telling them how classless they are is just ignorant and foolish. It may not be what you like but don't question what someone else wants to do. You certainly can offer your opinion but don't personally trash the guy. I took some flak a while back b/c I painted my non-brembo calipers red. You know what...I still love looking at them. Best $30 bucks I ever spent. So..lay off the guy.
My opinion though....I don't think you should get spinners. Looks better on the SUV's than sports cars. But if you do get them...post the pics

Spinners can really have the opposite effect that you're going for. Just yesterday I watched a truck with spinners rolling along... ...looking like he was dragging one lame leg due to a rear wheel that wasn't spinning. I know it just had to do with the stop-and-go motion, but his truck still looked jacked up! lol
The strangest thing was NOT hearing the tire screach as it was (or, rather, appeared to be) dragging along. Sort of like getting a tatoo of Jesus, to make yourself look tough, but only to realize that it turned out looking like a retarded Owen Wilson. The concept might be cool, but it doesn't matter if the execution sucks.
I do agree with others who say that you should do what you want, but I'd also give some consideration to the other opinions. Just because these have been the pimp-standard for a few years doesn't mean that they will continue to be. It would suck to spend all that money only to realize, in less than a year, that it's played-out and was a waste.
