just wondering where I can go to get my ECU tuned(flashed) like TS, around the NJ area, or tri-state area. I know that AAM is in Maryland, but that is about a good 4-5 hours from me and I would like to go somewhere a little closer. Any suggestions...thanks!

 

I think you're SOL with this one! I haven't heard of anyone else that does it besides AAM and Techno. If you find a place, lemme know!

 

sorry newbie question, what does ECU tune do to your car? and how much do they run about?

no prob....ECU is your "brain" in the car and by tuning it you change alot of different areas of the car's engine electronic mappings, fuel, throttle, idle, rev limiter, etc...this is normally used to accomidate performance parts.. about 600 or more
