Borla SS headers and Dual exhaust installed!!!

Well fellows, I just had an unorthodox underdrive crank pulley, Borla headers and dual exhaust installed. First off, I have no idle or reving problems with the pulley, it actually revs faster now, the headers are for a 350Z and yes they bolt right up with no mods, the exhaust needed some extensions on the intermediate pipes and the tips had to be extended about 3in.
I had the car dynoed stock and I will post pics of every thing after I have it dynoed again. I have all of the stock exhaust and the stock 17 in wheels and tires (1600miles), so if any body is interested let me know.

I'm very interested. Please keep us posted... want to see if the pulleys are actually worth it.

I would like to know how loud are the headers and if your check engine light stays off without the cats.

yeah - i'd really like to know the sound difference w/ the headers and exhaust vs the stock setup - and I definitely want to see some dyno sheets - do you have any guess as to the gains?

Re: Borla SS headers and Dual exhaust installed!!!

the stock cats are still in place, no check engine light. the car has a deep throaty rumble, but not loud. At idle, it is silent, you get a little of a exhaust drone under load at 2000rpm at 40-45mph, other than that it is suprisingly quiet. The car easily revs very freely and by the old butt meter there is more low end grunt, I have an auto car, and it definatly has more getty up.

Re: Borla SS headers and Dual exhaust installed!!!

All dyno runs are with the car in fifth gear, today I will be dynoing the car again to see how much was gained.
Just a question, everytime I try to post a pic it won't work, is there something I'm missing???

raysg35, We all look forward to seeing your pics and #'s. As far as posting pics is concerned, make sure the size is under 100k bytes, and around 300mm x 270mm with medium compression. Should work for you. G/L

Re: Borla SS headers and Dual exhaust installed!!!

Well I'm pissed, I got 4.5 hp gain and 4 lb/ft torque, I just don't understand it, the car before the mods would not spin the tires, now I can do it all day long, but the dyno says different??? I made a mistake all dyno runs are in fourth gear not fifth gear.
hopefully the pics will show up.........
