hi everyone

I noticed the steering wheel shaking when turning in a stop position, also when i am pulling out of a spot. I checked the fluid, its full. when the car is moving its fine. What could it be?

Shaking at the extremes or all the way through?

 

I would not say at the extremes, but during the turning motion left and right. its weird the way it just shakes like there is resistance.

 

Mine is smooth all the way through. It is not uncommon for some cars to get jittery when steering all the way to an extreme (not recommended). At a complete stop, you can see the front of the car raise and lower as you turn. It is harder of course but not jittery.

Time for a trip to the dealer imo unlesss someone else speaks up!

 

Your power steering belt is probably slipping under load.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt the G35 have one belt? I don't hear a squealing noise when it happens

 

Faulty pump or a crimmped line ... go to the dealer they will fix it.
