For those wondering if the nissan ratings will come down with the new SAE standard there is some good news. The 2006 QX56 details were released and HP is same under the new standard as it was on the 2005 at 315 . Now I dont know if its exact same 05 engine measured under new standard, or a differently tuned engine that would otherwise have made MORE than 315 hp but becuz of the new standard still makes the same 315hp..only a dyno run can reveal this. Either way atleast it hasnt lost any hp.....lets hope the same for models across the line.

 

I really hope so, the HP better not drop, if anything let it rise up
